What are these? I see lots of peopel use em for better sounds supposedt compared to combo amps or something liek that which ive grown accustomed to. Also i tried lookin gup amp heads on online stores and they have a watt, does this mean they can be used as there own seperate amp? do they produce there own noise even without cabinets or stacks or whatever to accompany them? And are they worth the extra doh?

A Combo amp combines an amplifier and speaker in the same cabinet. A stack contains the amplifier part in a separate enclosure from the speaker cabinet or cabinets. Worth the extra money? You must decide what you want to play and what you want it to sound like. Try both in your local reputable music stores.
