I'd go for the nursing major, with a minor (or a double major) in business. Look at it this way: you HAVE to have a nursing degree to become a nurse. You don't HAVE to have a business degree to get into business. Nurses are in very high demand, and it's only going to get more critical as our population ages. That is one freaking secure career to have. And, if you want to combine the two in your career, you certainly will be able to. I have one friend who started a billing business for major hospitals, and another who runs an on-call, at-home nursing operation.

The two courses somehow differ with the salary and of course, the field itself. But in anyhow, I consider Nursing a fulfilling career because you render service for those who need it most. It's nice to give your service to strangers especially when you offer this to God. That's what I think.

Everybody is different. It depends on you. I don't know you, so your going to have to decide for yourself. I took the business route...not on purpose, it just happend that way. I should have been the RN. I missed my calling. I missed a lot of opportunities to grow and change my life and others. I still wonder how different I would have been or where I would be now if I had done it differently. We live and learn.

I know a male that became a nurse and he loves it. It is very rewarding and you do for others. It pays pretty good. And there is a shortage of nurses. It is easier to get into nursing that business.
