Look into einsteins special theory of relativity
there are some good equations in there
but you have to be in a very high math level to understand it.
just google it and it'll come up
either that or his Field Theory
its good stuff

There are many fascinating topics in quantum theory, but as stated above, these ideas may be beyond the level you are looking at.
Just one interesting tidbit - there is more energy between subatomic quanta than is currently calculable in the observable universe. This would make nuclear fission look like a fire fly in comparison.

The Grand Unification Theory. Einstein was working on it when he died but he couldn't discover it. He theorized there had to be one and I believe he's right. Any breakthrough in this theory would be one the greatest discoveries of science.

i would recommend you to find the speed with which a body escapes from another body(as in hubbles law)
or you could find the escape velocity of a black hole
or you could find the maximum speed achievable by a artificial satellite
these are a few, amongst others
