how come the doctor said the sex of there last child was going to be a girl ..but in the end it was a boy....just wondering

i am not positive but i think they were basing it on her "real" life experience and Roseanne was told she was having a girl then ended up with a boy. i think they just incorporated it into the show since her baby played the baby on the show as well.

I believe it was because Jerry Garcia died that year and Rossanne was such a big fan she had it changed to a boy so she could name it after him as a tribute.

i dont know , but i do know when that season ended ,the baby girl they were going to use as the new addition was pulled out of the show by her mother for unknown reasons......

That happens in real life as well...I was told I was having a girl, and I had a son....guess they did it just to surprise us and to add something to the show.....

It just happened they never explained..the one mentioned above could explain why it was suddenly a boy..so her kid could get on the show.

Cause you don't always see the penis in ultrasounds. It can be hidden from view...and that is generally what they look for. Besides...it was in the script!
