Sunrise...
not only it is a beautiful sight to hold, but it also represents a brand new day and everything that comes with it...hopes, excitement, anticipation, etc... It's like being reborn into a wonderful world, especially since most people are still sleep which makes it more peaceful for you.
Nothing against sunset...they are beautiful too but...
the day is gone, all is done, you feel exhausted, overworked...and it's only 5 o'clock in the afternoon...lol.

I would have to say sunsets because I am never around for the sunrises.

I prefer sunsets, cause sunrise means the party's over and it's time to go home.

sunrises. i'm not an early waker and i'm mostly indoors so i rarely see either, but i have seen some incredible sunrises and sunsets just can't compare. plus i hate the outdoor temp and humidity in the evening so much it makes me sick. even the light in the evening is of an irritating shade.
nothing symbolic in sunrises or sunsets for me. symbolism i find in storms.

If you like sunrises you're more of a person who likes to get a fresh start to their day and likes to wake up and clear their mind while staring at the beauty in awe. More of a morning person.
If you like sunsets you tend to save the best for last in various situations and like to have things to look forward to. More of a night person.
Personally, I like sunsets.

Tough question.
I see the sunrise through my bedroom window every morning and I love starting my day early and looking forward to the whole day ahead...
But I love sunsets because they're the completion of the day and most of my responsiblities for the day are behind me.
They're equally beautiful...I don't think I could pick.
