"ER" fans, what do you think of "ER"? Is it "BACK!" like everyone says? To me,this is the best season since 1999. Gates is as close to Ross that you can get (Luka never got that close even though he "replaced" him bc of his brooding, mysterious personality). Its nice to see everyone for once not depressed. The Africa & Iraq stories are gone (and won't be back-by the way no Carter this yr--so there will be no Africa). I like how the characters are finally interacting some. Pratt and his brother are interesting. The Ray, Katey, Neela, Gates, and his lover romance triangle is kinda stupid (but it's a large part of the BIGGER ratings). The Forrest Whitaker storyline is interesting but slow (reminds me of Mark and Chris Law-from 4th/5th season). Morris has grown up & stopped being Mallucci part 2. Kerry's not doing anything new. I like the new RN "Ben" (Kip Pardue-Remember the Titans). Wish more Dubenko and less Crenshaw(new bald surgeon). If only Carter made a guest trip to THE (CHICAGO) ER

Tiffy I do agree with you that the writing is much more better and consice as compared to Seasons 10, 11, and 12. I don't think Stamos is the main reason or only reason why ER has had this huge re-birth both ratings and creativity wise, but I think he is the most charismatic Dr. and brings the most energy to the show since Ross (Clooney) left. Also, Hope (Busy Phillips) has been o.k. although she kinda gets annoying with the CONSTANT religious references and stuff. That is unrealistic. However, how she suggested long walks and better communication for a couple that were admitted for the flu on last night's eppy. She is o.k. but the character seems a little too little thought out and shallow. Also, what happened to all of the minority members? Other than Neela, Pratt and maybe Katey (the actress who plays her is Latin-White mixed) there aren't any minorities. All hospital dramas to be fair- ARE UNREALISTIC IN CASTING B/C THERE ARE NOT NEARLY ENOUGH ASIANS,LATINOS, AND EUROPEANS

I love ER and always have...it got a bit slow and dull for a couple of years, but I love Abby and Luca together and I'm glad that Kerry no longer has her cane too...the storylines are better and although I miss Greene and Ross, I think the ensemble works well together.....it's a bit hard to get used to seeing Uncle Jesse as a doctor, but he and Neela might make it work....

I have always been a fan of ER. I think that the writing has gotten better. I like John Stamos, but I don't think that it was him that revitalized the show.

I got board with the show last year so I stopped watching it. I do like how they added Stamos. Good for him to get another acting job. I was thinking he disappered after his two failed comedian shows were canceled.
