Absolutely. If you let thoughts like that get to your head your sex drive will go way down. Women need to feel safe and trust their partners in order to be really comfortable with them. Try to relax.

most definitely yes. I suspected that my husband was cheating and i felt used and did not want to be near him.then i found out that he had a porn addiction and so i was like well i can get over that and i still feel like there is so much suspicion and i dont desire to sleep with him. It is so strange loving somebody and loving sex but at the same time hating to have sex with the person you love because of a breach of trust. It killed it in me and now he doesn't understand why.... so maybe this is a female thing?

Yes, lies & suspicion can kill the desire for sex in a marriage. However, if you want to save your marriage you need to try to work thru it. It will not be easy & it will take time. But if you love him & can learn to trust him it will be worth it.
I have been there. It was important to me. I had children to think about also.

For most women the openness and vulnerability that they experience during sex is only possible with a man they can trust. Not trusting your husband would make it very difficult to open up to him sexually and therefore reduce your desire.

Yes it can, lies and secrets can, but you can make yourself to only think positive things about him and force yourself first to have sex, then relax, and accept and it might bring some healing to you and answers to him that forgiveness, and acceptance by you of giving sexual pleasure to him, will meet his emoitonal needs and he might be accontable to you, and start being faithful to you knowing, that you are not a door mat, but you will not accept this kind of behavior from him.
I hope you don't get mad to this response, but it does helps if you are in a situation, and you still love him and don't want to lose him.
You take care of yourself really, emotional, and healing from this experineces that your facing!

Hi Alijoy, You bet it can. Until you tell your husband what is going on(if you can) it will affect your sex drive. Don't you think your husband will know that something isn't right.Specially when you have no desire to have sex.

YES, because if you lose all respect and trust for him, it will most likely turn you off totally to sex, or at least sex with him.

Of course, lies and secrets mean no trust, hard to make love to someone you don't trust.

Yes!!,you would be thinking if he does the same things that he does with you or tell her the same love phrases he tells you.
