I saw only the back of the car... It had an "R" inside a circle, and said "supercharger" or maybe "turbocharger"...

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Sure do. However the circle was probably more oval shaped. Anyway, it was probably a late '90s Buick Riviera. The "R" symbol has been used off and on for a number of years on the Riviera. It is one of the top of the line Buicks made. It probably said Turbocharged. If it did, then, it was more than likely the 3.8 litre engine with the turbocharger. A kick-butt car. Runs as good as it looks.
