Meteor Crater is located off Interstate 40 in Arizona. I actually went there last summer. It's huge! They have a few telescopes that let you look across it and if you look in the very center, there is a life-size model of a astronaut with an American flag (only a tiny speck when not viewed with a telescope). It just shows you how deep it is. Go here for more info:

i'd go with tham153, there are huge craters all over the world, the one in northern arizona is realy deep and wide, went there as a kid, its huge. but the older ones that are eroded doun are bigger and the one he mentions in ill is barely discernable as a crater but sure is wide!
