This winter storm got old pretty fast.

My electricity goes out whether there is a storm or not. The power company keeps blaming the squirrels for damaging the transformer.
I think the only "squirrels" involved with the issue are employed at the power company.
I always keep a ton of jar candles for light. I also have a wood burner for a back up heat source. But it is still irritating as h*ll when they can't manage to keep my electricity going to my house. They always find a way to get the bill here on a timely basis though. You know where their priorities are.

Yes! Some construction workers accidently cut our phone lines at work this afternoon. We had nothing for 3 hours and we all kept reaching for the phone because we needed to make a call. Slow learners! LOL But it WAS nice not hearing the phone ring!!
