how many days have it been since your fall? has the pain subsided for any period of time?
what were the feelings after falling? i think you can judge if it's serious. because the ice is cold, you can have some retarded reaction if it's a bruise/abrasion, but for major injuries like breaking/ cracking a bone/ligament etc, i think it will hurt like hell.. that's from me..
hmmm.. you shouldnt skate after a big fall but anyway, did you wear your skate properly when you were skating? if it's proper, then did you ankle experience some twisting? did you feel something? if it's not properly worn, high chances of injuries...
i'm not sure where in your leg, but if it hurts for a long time and esp when you press/put any weight on it, you should see a doc..
we here are not reliable.. we cant see your injuries, nor have your x rays! =)
get well soon! keep off the bad leg!

probably not even a little fracture but you never know what it could take to take one out, but i broke my ankle, fibula, and tibula after just tripping 3 weeks ago, sure i may have got it stuck in some crack and it probably just snapped from the weight and everythin but you got back up and kept skating so its definatly not broken, but it could be a fracture, was there any pain when you fell? you should probably get an xray just to be safe, it could also just be a bad bruise or muscle injury so id say just rest, see a doctor. Its not broken but dont walk on it, you should prop some pillows up for sleep on it so its cusioned well.
If you werent in alot of pain when you went down chances are nothings broken. but when i broke my ****, nobody thought i broke anything, a bad sprain or fracture at most. thats what they all thought (even me a bit, i thought broken bones hurt way more than that) until a nurse looked at my ankle and saw it was at a 60 f*cking degree angle!

Only a doctor can tell you what is wrong. He needs to examine and possibly xray your leg. It is hard to say here what might be wrong . Good luck.

You might want to see your doc and have an x-ray done if needed.
Ice it if its swollen and avoid walking on it till you have some answers.

you might have sprained your ankle, worse you might have broken a fine bone in your foot, depending on the location of the pain, you should have it check by a doctor

If you don't work out that much then that could be the reason.
or they could be bruised,or you could have pulled a muscle
