Excellent point. It is not hereditary. It is not in one's genes. It is a choice or a direct condemnation branded upon a person by God. Romans 1: 21-32

Not that I'm overly concerned with homosexuality needing to be considered hereditary or not...but I have heard it discussed that its something passed down by highly fertile women. Regardless, one is to suppose not all the sons will be gay...and even that might not prevent them from having a child. But does that speculation matter?
I doubt anyone in the gay community is there solely because they think its "cool." You talk about "brainwashing" kids because of the gay agenda being pushed. Why dont you consider the obvious bias in your statement as brainwashing children to be intolerant and phobic?
As far as normal goes, research Kinsey, if anything he taught 1940's America that what it wants to consider normal within the realm of sexuality and what actually *is* are two diffrent things. Homosexuality and lesbianism, while not being a dominant portion of the population, has no more reason to be hushed within media and political forums than any other group.

I am sorry, but I really do disagree. I believe there is an area in between genetics and choice. I believe that often times, children go through trauma or events that strongly influence them. Often living situations growing up can have a strong effect on sexuality. I do now know many gay men, but two that I know of have always hated their mothers and do not communicate with them. This is probably not true for most, but I believe that the neglect they felt as a child because of their mothers could have influenced them in their sexuality. Truly I BELIEVE sexuality is not a choice. Did you wake up one day and say "Hey, I think I'm going to be heterosexual!" ? I doubt it. The same way, homosexuality is something that is worked into a person, or by some unknown factor, is born into them.

I wish it would have gone the way of the do-do's as well....but it didn't....it's been around since early Egyptians and Romans and Greeks....my theory is if it is inherited then it maybe a recessive gene..... like blue eyes vs brown eyes...if you have both recessive genes from your parents then you are gay.....if you get 1 dominant and 1 recessive then you wouldn't be....just like if you had 1 dominant gene for eye color (brown) and 1 for recessive (blue)....you would have brown eyes BUT carry and pass along the recessive gene.... just a theory...but this theory supports homosexuality never dying out.....

Maybe it's partly a subconscious reaction to the gross overcrowding we human beings are imparting on our planet. Or MAYBE it's something that has been common for almost the entire history of mankind, but due to social stigmatisms it's been only recently acknowledged as being normal.
I highly doubt sexual preference could be hereditary - just because.... say.... I have a thing for S&M (which I don't) doesn't mean my kids are going to. Anyway- I'm sure that before it became mostly acceptable, most homosexuals hid how they felt and entered into "traditional" relationships.... How sad for them.
I can't believe it's a choice anyway. No one said YOU had to have a foot fetish, did they?

everybody can be gay if they want ,it depends on your upbringing, and what happened to you on the way.opertunity and sexdrive as well as genetics in some cases.
they say that because of overpopulation, the government is raising the PH in the water and some consumer goods ,this affects sexual devellopment in the womb.
In Mexico are millions of Gays (very effeminate men)because of the agricultural Chemicals that have ended up into the rivers and drinking water
so yes you maybe right ,we are heading towards a gay future
And ,in reality nothing could be more natural,in Nature same sex is very common and even crossbreeding with other species occurs at times.
all Mamals, insects even fish and dolphins show homosexual tendencies very frequently

I agree with that fact that kids think is is normal. But, as for it dieing out i don't understand how you came up with that. If that were the case wouldn't a lot of our diseases and different traits have died out by now. for example wouldn't we all have brown eyes and brown hair. Or, would their still be heart disease and diabetes? Those are all hereditary things. Besides it was not a socially acceptable for people to "come out" in years past as it is now.
I believe that if it makes you happy then go for it.

Being gay is not passed down from one generation to the next. It is not hereditary , I don't know what book you read that out of , but that is the worst reason I have ever heard for a person being gay.

It isn't hereditary so much as biological. As for your theory that there are more gay people today meaning it is a choice, that is ludicrous. The climate for gay people to be more open and public is better, so you see and hear them more. That is until you and your ilk push them back into the closet.

Homosexuality isn't hereditary any more than heterosexuality is hereditary.
Interesting though to think that human survival is utterly relient on heterosexuality, but ignores homosexuality entirely. The human species exists because of heterosexuality.
Homosexuality's contribution to our continued tenure as a species?
