you have #1 right, good job!
for #2, you shouldn't break up the 5x into 3x + 2x, just factor the equation how it already is:
3x^2+5x+2
(3x+2)(x+1)
for #3, you can factor out what's in the parantheses further:
6w^3-10w^2-24w
2w(3w^2-5w-12)
2w(3w+4)(w-3)
for #4, you got rid of the negative when you simplified ay-by. it should look like this:
ax-bx+ay-by
x(a-b)+y(a-b)
(x+y)(a-b)^2
for #5, the way it is now, it will multiply out to x^2+4x-5. you need to make the product of the last two numbers in the parantheses equal 0:
x^2-5x+0
(x+5)(x+0)
for #6, you have it really close, you probably just forgot a negative somewhere:
x^2+5x= -6
x^2+5x+6=0
(x+3)(x+2)=0
x+3=0 or x+2=0
x=-3 or x=-2
overall, not bad, it just looks like you're missing a few details here and there. just be sure to pay attention to all your signs, write down all your steps, and check your work. after you simplify, multiply it back out (or plug in the numebr for the variable) to make sure you got the right answer.

Good work! On number 3, you can go a bit further. Factor 3w^2-5w-12.
On number 4, try factoring the a,b out to get a (x+y) and -b(x+y) = (a-b) (x-y)
On number 5, shouldn't you just factor out x?
On number 6, first make one side of the equation 0. So add 6. Then factor like you did so nicely in problems 1 and 2.

3) 2w(3w + 4)(w - 3)
4) (x + y)( a-b)
5) x( x - 5)
6) (x +3) (x+2)
x = -3 x = -2

1)x-7
x=7
2)(3x+2)(x+1)
3x=-2 & x=-1
x=2/3 & x=-1
