Grades are important in school. But the thing about them is that it's basically just how well you memorize, and rarely about actually knowing something. When we take tests, all we have to do is memorize the facts in a night or two, and then we just forget about them.

You really should try your best, and if you do well enough, you'll still make a lot of money as a doctor.

Grades are important. They are the carrots we jump for on our way through the flaming hoops while our trainers look on in glee and partial dismay. They help us gain license to do what we actually want to do.

Luckily for you there are SO many factors in making a great doctor. Kindness, empathy, and a winning personality are all important factors. Why don't you do something for yourself while simultaneously plumping up your qualifications?

Volunteer... work with kids. Give your time (and I understand that you must have very little being pre-med) and your heart will be better for it. Consider it training for your work as a future doctor. It also gives a high....

Marks AREN'T everything. The best marks in the world do not guarantee a good doctor. But strong grades, solid knowledge, and a caring heart are a darned good start. Take care of yours.

And remember... sometimes tests are not accurate expressions of what we know or how much we've learned. Best Wishes...

It can get frustrating, but you do have to realize that if you are planning on getting into medical school, you're going to have to keep your gpa up. If you believe that it's not as good as it should be, make sure you study very hard for the MCAT. It's just as important as, if not more than, your gpa.

Learning how to manage the stress now is going to help a lot once you're out of medical school and begin to work. Hang in there.

i honestly don't think grades should be dependent towards your future. sometimes grades are given unfairly or favorably. how are colleges suppose to know the true limit of you intellectual status? grades cant always be right, they can be wrong too. therefore grades shouldnt have a significant say about our lives. if only there was a way to know how intelligent we are without tests or grades.

forget about grades, its not like its all accurate anyways. wouldn't you rather get into something fairly and deservingly? just keep up the good work and dont worry about it.

See, with medical school, everything DOES depend on grades and where you fall on the curve. It's a lame system that's designed to "root out" those who can't do better than the one's who set the standard and all. It's really quite sad, but that's the way it goes.

I see why you freak out when you get a bad grade. Everyone does. You have to remember that if you know that youre doing good, good things will come to you.
