There's this guy that i wuz really friendly with, and I could seriously tell that he had a crush on me... but all he did was talk bad about other people and insult me, such as calling me chubby and blubbery, I knew that he meant it like as a joke, but it wuz still insulting. But, I liked his company, so I just stuck to him. And for a moment, I thought my heart started beating. However, as his continual insult of other people and me began to increase, I figured out that his personality wasn't what I thought it wuz (and I can't believe I didnt figure this out for 4 years). Since I'm the type that's realy sensitive to insults (even joking ones) I decided to drop all contact with him, and just ignore him. However, this has increased his insulting of me... did i do the right thing?

No one deserves to be insulted the world is full of people who take kindness for weekness you definetly did the right thing sorry you put so much into someone that does'nt deserve it.Keep doing what you are make him feel like **** with no remorse dont let your gaurd down.He does it because he is insecure about himself and you shouuld'nt let it effect you your better then that.

Yes. It is always better to retain your self respect and get rid of 'toxic relationships'-if a person truly cares for you, they will not insult you or embarrass you, draw attention to your faults, or harass you. If you keep quiet, others will see that he is being a total insensitive jerk and you also keep your integrity. Keep your chin up. There are lots and lots of interesting people still left for you to meet in your life.

Just be honest with him. Tell him that you like being friends with him but you don't like his jokes. They they offend you, and that if he still wants to be friends with you then he needs to stop.

Or just keep ingoring him and hopefully he will give up.
