Pay off a tiny portion of my student loan. $2,000 is really not that much at all - I try to be generous toward others with helping them out whenever I can - whether it's with homework, or that they need someone to talk to who will listen to their problems, or they need someone to help push-start their car... but when it comes to money, I'm not really in such a great financial position myself right now! Will be generous money-wise once I have my degree, and am earning good money in a full-time job! On the other hand if someone just randomly gave me the $2,000, so I didn't earn it or anything... then I think I really would like to spend it on my family and friends and a few random strangers... if I won it through a lotto ticket or something (which ain't gonna happen cause I don't gamble anyway... can't afford to and don't see the point...) I would probably be inclined to keep the majority of it to pay off my loan but maybe share round some.

I would find a local cause that needs help and teach them how to use that $2K to make more - through a fund raising effort... until they had enough to get some people truly helped. Not just throwing some lame stuff at them because it is the holidays.. but get them what they need to be self sufficient.

I would pay all my bills, give money to the church. And if there's any money left, I would pay some of my student loans (I don't think $2000 is enough though :) But I would be really grateful if anyone would give me that amount

Give the 10% to my church, pay some bills, take my boys to a nice restaurant for dinner, and buy a new outfit.
