because we really have no physical relationship with them, and without a physical relationship there's no emotional attachment so we really don't give a **** what happens to online friends.

Life has a way of taking us in different directions. We make friends, we spend time getting to know, next thing we know, they've moved on, or we've moved on. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it just ..... is. I've met so many people via chat and 360, and MySpace, they come and go like the seasons, and there's no viable explanation. It just happens. It's a bummer, too, because there are some fascinating people out there, and wonderful stories to be shared. I think the internet has become such a taboo medium for meeting people. Between the impersonators, the perpetrators, the pediphiles, stalkers, wanna be's, ... should I go on? It's hard to know who's who anymore. Best advise I can come up with is, don't give up. Don't stop getting to know people. People come in and out of our lives for different reasons. The reasons remain a mystery, but the journey sure is interesting.

Best of luck...

Well in all relationship it needs to build effort from both ends. Yes I have to agree with all our busy lifestyle you will be surprise how times fly and before you knew it you haven't been seeing or keeping in touch with some of your friends for ages.

So maybe dropping them something like a e-card or forward them a joke for the day as a reminder that you are still there and hope they will keep in touch. Otherwise just look for new ones.

Good Luck.

you can never count on an on line friendship.... there's really know telling what these people really are like or what they really do... only when they are in front of their machines... LIKE me... nobody knows who I am....and that could be good,,, for the right person... but I don also have a life out side this on line world....
I've chatted with people on line once or twice, then they are gone... it's like talking to someone at a bus stop. .....
quick and short... and sometimes, I guess that can be a shame...
but that's life in this new cyber world....
Good luck to you..

The internet tends to be temporary, emails don't always get checked, email addresses change, websites come and go, online friends are one of those things we tend to place less importance on, so they come and go as well.

i think cause they got free time so you find them on and then they just get busy and on line is different than in person easy to blow one off. easy come easy go and its not like your doing things together.
