Willard is the only rat movie I know, but that was in the 70s.
Oh yeah, Michael Jackson sang a love song to Ben (the rat).

There were two of them.One was called"Willard",made in 1971,and the other was called"Ben",made in 1972 as a sequel to "Willard".
