can i make a good living as a paralegal?

i really enjoy law and research, but i can not take out any more student loans to go to law school. i was wondering if any one knew if working as a paralegal would be enough money to live off of and send myself through law school? what is the starting salary like?

is there a demand for paralegals in your area? if so, then yeah you should be able to live off that....law school though might be tough on a paralegals salary..unless you get a really good firm......

YES! You can make a hell of a lot of money, esp. working in an urban (downtown) area.
