Someone who is in SECLUSION is in a private place away from all disturbance and apart from other people.

Example : At 35, Marcel Proust became a chronic invalid from asthma and spent the rest of his life in seclusion, almost never leaving his house.

Do you mean seclusion? Seclusion means to distance yourself from others physically, often for a religious purpose.
