I like the Cat Who... (series of books) by Lillian Jackson Braun. It's about a reporter and his siamese cats and the mysteries they solve.
I also enjoy the "number" books by Janet Evanovich. They are hilarious, somewhat romantic books about a bounty hunter. They are the first books that made me laugh out loud.

I luv 'Black Beauty' 4 it's the 1 that developed my taste 4 reading. U know it's difficult 2 have a favourite book coz ther's sumthing in every book that touches us personally.Knowing abt a person's favourite book helps one 2 know what type of person is
It depends. If u wanna have a good laugh, start with 'Three Men in a boat' byJerome K. Jerome. If u want something more serious but absolutely lovely, and if u luv animals, read 'Black Beauty' by Anna Sewell'.There is not only one book that u should read, there are many.Once u've fallen in luv with books reading is easy.I luv reading, though I hated the sight of books before I read 'Black Beauty'.Try reading any book u've heard is beautiful. There r the books of Austen, Steinbeck, Dickens,Dante,Lee harper,Orwell, etc
