I know that it keeps people in touch, but why do they need myspace? Ok I get it that it's a website thing, but why not email each other and why get so obsessed about it?
And can anyone tell me how to add people to my watchlist. I wanted to awhile ago, but it wouldn't let me. There were people that answered my last question about my ex and wanted to know where I'm from but I couldn't email them because i couldn't get to their profile or anything, so if someone wants to talk or something email me or tell me how to get my watchlist going please? Can you help?

People get myspace to talk to people when their parents complain that they are talking too much on the phone. Plus it's a great way to talk to more than one person at once. I don't have it though because you have to log in and answer people's things. Plus the least amount of time that people are in MySpace for is about an hour and I don't have that kind of time because of sports and keeping up my good grades. Friends have asked and pressured me to have one but I always say that if there is something that you want to talk about, call my cell phone!

I don't understand myspace either. There are other ways to get in touch with people. This is one of them. Yahoo member profiles is another. You only need to know a little about a person before you e-mail or IM them. Myspace is just a glorified profile page. But anything you put on myspace can be put into a e-mail. Myspace is available to just about anyone to view but a direct e-mail is much more personal. It's your choice.

well at first i was anti-myspace like u, but then i tried it out and got TOTALLY ADDICTED!! its just b/c its extremely fun to have ur own free website, and a unique way to keep in touch with friends other than email/IM. also, making ur page as trendy and cool as you can....getting the most picture/profile comments and views....it was kind of like a really addicting game. then i realized that it was taking over my life...so i deleted my account. now i live a myspace-free life, and im perfectly sane...hehehhh...yah right. but im better than i was before with myspace. i hope that explains the obsession for u, but ive noticed more and more deletions of accounts, and less and less talk of myspace. its definitely a fad, and i dont think it will survive too much longer...

People seem very obsessed about myspace. I because many of my friends have them and try to convince me to get one.I think that you are right and that people can just email each other.Some people think that myspace it a place to meet people well it is also a dangerous place too.

The main thing I know about it is that I was using the internet at the library one night (checking out books and wanted to look something up) and the junior-high aged kids next to me were looking at nude women's breasts. I mentioned it to the librarian and she said she couldn't do anything because they were on "myspace." My 12 year old goddaughter is also obsessed with it, but since my computer is almost as old as she is (older than her little brother) it takes forever to load anything with sound bites and movie clips and whatever else is out there. I don't think she's looking at anything x-rated, but who knows!

I dont know about Myspace...i have a page there but it takes to much to upkeep...Yahoo 360 is wayyyyy better!

I had an account for a year, but the whole thing was just boring crap. So I erased my page and removed my friends, now I'm done with that ****.
