Man is based on Duality. So is all of nature. Yes, I have a monster inside of me. He has two names: Alcholism and Fighting. There was a time where I was this monster, but because of sheer will alone, I was able to bring me back out. We all have that monster. In each of us, God or the Gods reside. But so does the Devil or other "evil" things. The important thing is to get in touch with both. Not in the sense of do what they do, but learn from them. You can learn a lot of from evil, just like you can learn a lot from good; it is about what you do with it afterward that makes you a man or a monster.

I do not believe that anyone literally has a demon or monster lurking in them, but is a more metaphorical sense yes we all have this monster in us. This monster that you refer to is that every day urge to do right from wrong. We may all be born innocent, but life shows you the good and the bad things in life. Some choose to live a good life, other choose to live a poor life. That monster you are talking about is that urge inside of you that rages when you get angry at someone or something. All of us have good and bad in us by the decisions we make. We are not evil or good by any other standard than the lives we live. so some do not control their inner monster and allow themselves to do horrible things, where others have more control of their actions and choices and have control of their inner demon.
So metaphorically, each of us has a monster lurking in us, it is just a question of how in touch which your self and your ability to control your actions and decisions.

Not all of us have monster in us. Some people are born with bad nature, whereas some are born with good nature.
This is especially easy to see in babies and young children. Some are born very obedient and not making much fuss - easy to care. Some are naughty and raucous and mischievous.

Nope, people are just people who occasionally hurt eachother... there is no outer evil. If there is I hope it takes me over completely (like the girl in the excorsist and then I can believe in Jesus again after my excorsism by a catholic priest) I would take that to feel that way again and I ask god publicly to let it happen if it will bring my faith back.

Some of us have been tortured and the demon grew up in us. Others are born demons.

Define "Monster". A monster to one may be a friend to another. There are two sides to every coin.

There are demons all around, they can only in dwell you if you let them or they trick you(freewill) and they will only leave if you get the holy spirit to live in you then they have to leave and you get the holy spirit through the Name of Jesus! BUT, our nature at its lowest is not demonic but it is evil,(sin nature in us all) and so the devil and his demons exploit these weaknesses, that's why we need to be filled with his holy spirit, so the new nature is not evil but pure. But as long as we are in the flesh it will never be perfect!

I believe if the "right buttons" are pushed, you'll find a demon in most people.
