It sounds like your family may be distracted with other things (bills, taking care of you and siblings you may have, etc.) Try talking to them at dinner if you all eat together. Everyone is present and it is a great opportunity tell them that you feel the need to be heard. Parents do appreciated it when children talk to them and not make them read their children's minds. Just be honest. Good luck. And if it doesn't pan out, just remember, your opinion does count, even if no one wants to listen.

Why dont you ask them when you have their ful attention. I tend to block my kids out when I have other things on my mind. I feel bad afterwards. I am sure that they do not mean to be rude. But tell them how you feel when you have their attention.
