Me and rich were really close but all of a suddon he hates me and all he does it talk crap about me to my best friend. by the way me and sammie have been best friends for 7 years. anyway so its hurting sammie because she doesnt want to here it. today he was being a real loser to her and his away message said "do what you want i cant stop you" cause they dot in a fight. now to me thats impying he dont care about her. then i asked him about it and he blew up on me and said some of the meanest things anyone has ever said to me. to to get to the point, was it wrong of my to make sammie kind of pick between us, after what he did to her i dont think she or i should have to deal with hm bieng a loser to us. i feel bad making her kind of choose because i dont want to loose our friendship. but since they started going out he like doesnt let her talk to me and stuff. she doesn tknow what to do cause she thinks shes in love. shes 14 and it been 4 months i was like no. so no more space was it bad?

thanks for your help so far but i dont think you go the point that i told her she shouldnt see him, and i cant "dismiss" him because hes not my boyfriend. and she says she wants btoh of us to be wth her still me as best friend an dhim as boy friend, but i have always thought about the better for her. so she should take into consideration it hurts me too.
and now that he realied it hurts sammie when he talk about me hes trying to be firneds with me again and all he is doing is trying to apoligize.

It sounds like he was trying to figure out a way to break up with her and he was using you to do it. What a jerk. Dont let him get away with talking to you like that. Tell him to kiss your *** and swallow the sh*t.

Rich is a manipulative SOB. I think he's turned on you because he's an abuser, & the 1st thing abusers do is try to isolate their victims (Sammie) from their friends & family.
You can't control Sammie, so don't try to tell her what to do. The only person you control is YOU, so make sure your actions are centred around yourself.
Obviously you don't want to be around someone who treats you the way Rich does, so just let Sammie know that you need space between you'n'him. Then let Sammie know that you will always be her friend no matter what, but you can't just stand by & watch Rich show so much disrespect for her, & that you will be there for her when she is through with him.
I don't see that as making her choose between you'n'him. I see it as YOU choosing a better situation for YOURSELF. Sammie is free to choose if she wants to stay with him, & risk being either physically, or verbally abused, you aren't forcing her into anything.
At 14 Sammie isn't in love, she just doesn't want to be without a boyfriend. So she's willing to put her self-esteem on the line to keep this boy. She's setting a dangerous precedent for herself.
All you can do is advise her, & hope that she understands that no guy is worth sacrificing her dignity over.

i imagine u might want to communicate 2 her boyfriend about this subject because if u tell your pal she gonna be like oh he do not hate u or u purely jealous that she don't love u and he like me getting all insecure. SO ill say purely sit down the boy down and be like what's your situation and sit down his pal down because they probable dont like u because they were given a weigh down on them and could no longer pay interest 2 them

You shouldn't make your friend chose between you and her boyfriend, that's not fair to her. A true friend would stand by her and support her and be there when she needs you. And it sounds like she to young for a boyfriend anyway if she's so immature she lets him treat her bad.

If that happened to me, i'd just avoid going near him... Whenever someone talks bad about me, I just avoid them and forget the whole thing... but, people dunt usually say bad things about you to someone ure close to (like, nobody says bad things about me to my best friend). maybe he's not the right guy ure best friend shuld date... i mean, is she REALLY in love? Ask her, "If you had to choose between saving your parents or your boyfriend, who would you save..." or something... I didn't say anything offensive, did i?
