Which present should I ask my parents to get me for Christmas this year? A Playstation 3 or Wii?

I just played my buddy's PS3, he's ticked, as I would be. It honestly looked marginally better graphic wise over the PS2, same but with "bloom effect" maybe that pc's have had for years now. I'd also have to say it really doesn't compare to my XBOX 360 either. Also blue ray is already obsolete, unneeded and adds a lot to the total cost of the PS3. I'm hopefully going to get a Wii tomorrow, it just makes more sense. I already have a 360 anyway for real graphic playing but am anxious to try the new style of the Wii. Hope the games improve A LOT for it though, PS3 still kicks their pants on that one.

The Playstation Wii either one you cant go wrong but you may have a better chance convincing them on the Wii as it is a lot cheaper

Niether, because you wont be able to find either of them.
But in a perfect world, take the Wii, all the PS3 is just a super expensive PS2. The Wii is a whole new gaming concept, the start of affordable Virtual Reality.

well my son jus bought a wii off of ebay nd hasnt received the package yet so i culdnt tell u wich one plays better but if u want a gift for christmas u may wanna go wit the wii cuz the ps3 wont come bac out till january

Wii.. Asking for a PS3 would be unreasonable considering the lack of consoles and high price.

Even though I like PS3, I'd say get the Wii, less expensive and more fun games!

the wii because u can actually play the game like if it was real life the ps3 just has good graphics and if u want good graphics u might as well save ur money and go outside
