Mathematics.
Although I personally wonder whether Math is the true way to evaluate and describe the universe, or whether it is merely a map of the construction of the human mind. The implication of the latter is that humans are incapable of reasoning out any truth about the universe, due to the fact we are trapped within our limited brains and cannot possibly perceive and process the "things as they are" in an accurate way.

Mathematics. Interestingly, when I receive students from various countries, many of whom cannot speak English, I find that they can always perform mathematical equations. It is called "Numeracy," the shared language of numbers.
