The correct answer is both because while Bush himself is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, the people around him are very influential. I mean, how can one be thoughtless and be finding legal precedents to destroy the Constittution. How can one be thoughtless while invading countries under false pretenses and getting half of America to beelive it for a while. They are also thoughtless because of thier arrogance that people will sit back and relax while this horrendus actions are going on. They are thoughtless because they have underestimated the costs of Iraq and Afghanistan. That's all I got for now.

Anyone who thinks you can become president by being thoughtless should try becoming president. Good luck. Just because one doesn't agree with another person's conclusions, does not mean the other person did not have good reasons. If someone is angry about a politician, you probably haven't thought about all the angles. If a political solution seems obvious to you, you definitely haven't looked at it from all sides.

Of course the administration is thoughtful. They have had successes and failures and when the history books are written, the verdict will be favorable: strong response to 9/11, strengthening of the Military and Homeland Security, fantastic economy (including record low unemployment), and two terms in office. Poor prosecution of the aftermath of the Iraq War won't be considered a dismal failure, the U.S. casualties are some of the lowest of any war in history.

A president can purely get stuff finished if their occasion controls the two chambers of Congress. Obama has almost no potential stunning now, he lost the homestead in 2011. He purely had finished potential for 2 years. Bush, on the different hand, had finished potential for 6 years, he did no longer lose Congress till 2007 (whilst the Democrats gained the two chambers). it is the reason Bush is a lot worse than Obama and all of us realize it. He had six years to destroy usa. i do no longer think of Obama destroyed something, yet in spite of in case you do, he purely had 2 years of it.

Great question. All I have to go on is the media and my own gut. It's been a weird voyage, man. The media is inconsistent and odd,and the government has not come through with evidence of weapons of mass destruction. Not to mention the many other countries who want us to fall.

Who can really make heads or tails? I don't like how this war went down and that is what I can only stick to, realistically. What do you make of it?

Are we a real Democracy if no one has a real clue???????

I believe our President speaks his mind and speaks in truth. You may not agree, but you asked and my answer would be:
He think he is thoughtful about our Troops and our country. Some people don't like him because he is too straightforward but I would rather hear that then hear a lie told with a smile on national TV. Mrs. Bush is very, very thoughtful and I believe the underneath George W. is thoughtful as well. He just has a tough job right now and needs the support of the American people; otherwise, the Iraqi terrorists will pick up on this and when they feel we are against our President, it delights them and gives them an opportunity to cause more and more trouble. I would hate to be a President in this time. He needs our support no matter what we think of him.
So do our Troops.

Thanks for the question. I appreciate it.
