My family members sit on the couch with their legs spread apart.....I keep mine closed usually by crossing my legs like a girl.

I think it's unladylike for a woman to sit with their legs wide open. A woman doesn't have to cross her legs but at least keep your knees together or cross your ankles.

It's like a venus fly trap. They are waiting for small bugs to unwittingly venture near their crotches.... and when they do.. WHAM! the legs close in on them!

I think that they want to be comfortable and that they aren't comfy sitting with their legs together.

Well it depends on if they are men or women. It is more indecent for girls, but some guys can take it to extremes just to have more space on the couch.

I do not think that there is anything wrong with sitting like that especially if they are at home relaxing!

I don't think bad about those kind of people ,but it's a bit impolite to sit like that especially for girls and women!

At least they are comfortable. I can see sitting with legs crossed in public, but not at home.

it is ok for guys to sit with there legs open but girls mostly close there legs in dresses or sqirts
