Destiny is preordained in the way that God knows what you will do but he doesn't force you to take your choices. Your sinning is because you chose to do so. Your good deeds is of your good heart. Why is it that people when the do good they demand "reward" and never say, I don't deserve reward from God because I was "forced" and it was written but when it comes to sin, they refuse responsibillity and say God "forced" them to do so?! It's just satan playing with your intellect. He on the day of jugement will be innocent from what you did and you think he will take responsibillity? So don't think of it too much. You sow what you reap.

I am rather stoic so I can't really make and describe emotions realistically if I don't do some research. I am also not a good speaker so writing conversation quickly without it sounding awkward is also a challenge. Other than that, plot holes, some of which are obvious at the first reread. I plan to overcome the first by doing some research, watch videos of how people react when feeling a certain emotion. Then I use that for describing in my story. The second, usually after much thinking (and rewriting), I would come up with something realistic enough. So I'll need to do some hard work on that. the third I overcome by rereading my plot and over and over again until I can't find another plot hole. Then I rewrite it. BQ: I don't really put much emotion in it, more often just description. Like this: "He showed a hint of disappointment." or "Anger flashed in her eyes.". So it's mostly just basic description of emotions. I don't really describe them too well in detail.

Yes, God knows the outcome of everything. But WE don't---that's the difference. He knows whether we will use our free-will to make good choices or bad. We are given the privilege of praying to God to help with those choices. The more we rely on ourselves, the more apt we are to botch it up. The more we rely on God, the decisions we make turn out better. We can continue to stumble around in confusion, or we can accept that God has a plan for us and we can surrender to it and cooperate. You will be much happier that way. It's similar to children rebelling against their parents who do know what's best for them and truly want to protect and help them. If your dad is intelligent, educated, experienced, and kind, you would certainly ask his advice. If you don't take that advice then you might not get good results. But if he knows you as well as God knows us, then he knows you probably won't listen and will just go do your own thing. But he still loves you and will give you more chances to come to him. So, it's a combination of predestination and freewill working together. If you think about it too much you only end up getting yourself all confused.

If God already knows everything you will do in your life, you have no free will at all. None, Bupkiss, nada.
I choose to think that God knows nothing of the future, and at best can only speculate what any of us can do, and therefore we do have a degree of free will.
If I am going to Hell because I believe this, and God knows this, then it's his fault. Not mine.
God just has to be smart enough to understand this.
I tend to think that God was not the only thing responsible for creation. If God were perfect, how could he have designed human teeth? Your teeth, my teeth, everyone's teeth are being damaged by microbes during our entire lives. Hardly any of us outlive our teeth.
Either God is perfect and didn't design teeth, or he did, and he's not perfect.
I don't hold a high opinion of cockroaches, syphilis, typhus, AIDS or cancer, either. I suppose the Holy Mother Church would blame the Devil for those things, but I think that is a silly way to look at it.

The first thing to realize is that all things exist simultaneously.Okay, here we go. By the way, the Boss likes to be referred to with a word which is capitalized.
The word destiny presupposes preordination.
Free will, choice if you prefer,
Is not contradictory to preordination if one assumes a God who is omniscient and omnipresent. He and She know what you are going to choose because they exist in all times and places simultaneously. In other words Bub, God lives both inside and outside of the time continuum in all places and spaces at the same time. Imagine videorecording everything everywhere.Did the recording of your actions void your choices? Not unless you are
an electron!

Moh: Great question ! The situation presented to all humans is life. Life contains opportunity and choices we all have to make when they arise. The outcomes from our choices, supplies us with feedback to gauge our relationship ( or lack of one) with God and man. The ultimate result will be in accordance with how ( to the degree) we will end up [ result]. We are not predestined to achieve a certain outcome - this is where free volition comes in [choice], by each and everyone of us. Humans are the only species to have choice whereas, animals have instinct ! When the majority of people choose to make the wrong decision thinking it is the right one, there is negative consequences for all of us. Example: 51% decide to steal and rob people - the system crumbles ... cause and effect !!! Hope this serves your question with justice.

Wow, great question. That's an excellent point, I mean, what is the point of wearing seat-belts? or washing your hands to keep diseases at bay? why take precautions when a god may have a plan for you? You take life into your own hands and make decisions, you don't let your surroundings have too much control over you.

I believe we are free to choose. This becomes apparent when you have two really crummy alternatives to choose from. for example, if two people are drowning- one is your brother and the other is your sister you have to choose which one to save first. Its possible that God puts an idea in your head right at that instant in time but I dont think so- I dont think God ever planned to be that involved in 4 billion peoples lives from second to second. We must be responsible for ourselves.
Situations are placed before us- its called living life. God knows that man's intellect will lead to sometimes evil thoughts and poor choices but we will be judged by the actions we take and what is in our hearts and not by what is in our heads.

To approach this question, you must remember one characteristic that is usually attributed to God: He is above and beyond the concept of time.
Natural science currently holds various concept of arrow of time (see source link below). While humans are bound by this flow of time, it is assume God is not. This would put God in an existence called in a sort of T-symmetry.
Once we can appreciate this difference of level of existence, then we can begin to get an idea that free will and predeterminism does not have to contradict. God's preordination is based on His foreknowledge of our lives in the time continuum we exist.
We are confused for the simple reason we have no idea of an existence outside the concept of time.

Everything in your life is predistined as in predictable. "God dwells within you as you" you start out feeling you are separate from God with a will of your own,by the thought attracted to your mind by your state of being, you determine your circumstances in life and your destiny by the choices you make in thought, word & deed. Through the stemuli response training you will finally arrive at unity with God in unconditional Love within your own heart.
