It is true that it is better to give than to recieve. But you shouldn't give a person things like pain, misery or hatred. Look at the man up there. He sacraficed his life to clear our sins. WHy, cuz he loved all of us and wanted to give us a chance. One person has to receive the pain or else everyone will. im only 12 years old and im anwsering a hard question hahahah?

try this....
if you receive pain , is it always a bad thing?
if you give pain is it always a bad thing?
if you receive pain is it always a good thing?
if you give pain is it always a good thing?
perception is not always what you think it is...truly is it?
the answer to that is a definite "NO"! ! !
now to answer you question......
if your being beat is that a good thing ...NO and yes
if your beating someone is that a good thing ? Yes and no
now your asking what the heck are you talking about ???
same question here?????
but i will say you mean the usual thing "being beat with a hand or fist" the answer to that is NO! it is NOT a good thing and that kind of pain no one wants.
but what if you are talking about a lip blasting from your boss or dad or mom ....is it a good thing? or a bad thing?
from mom or dad it may just be the kind of pain you NEED! yes ! ! ! ! it may very well be a good thing.
see we call that TUFF LOVE ! ! !
from your boss though its the kind of thing you don't need! but well if you messed up bad enough .......

It depends on what the pain is. My physical therapist inflicted wicked pain on my broken toe. I couldn't walk on my first appointment but I skipped out happily after the 10th session. Not all pain is bad; sometimes it's quite necessary.

What is never good, better or best is to BE a pain.

Depends on who you're giving it to. My husband gave me a lot of pain and I certainly wish I'd never received it.

One man's pleasure might be pain.

Sounds like a pretty personal question to me.
