my friends and i started a band but we have no idea what to do for a name...we keep coming up with lame things so maybe anyone here has tips on how to "brainstorm" for the perfect name

Get together at a band practice and ,depending on the music, throw out some ideas. I know of bands that have picked there names by taking pieces of paper with words on them and picking them out of a hat. I have also heard of looking in a dictionary.
What worked for my band was telling all the members to think of 4-5 band names for the next band practice(regradless of how bad they are) and share them. Pick the best one. Also, if you don't like the name, it can be changed. Good luck!!!
