Could he have something wrong with him?

Myabe a sign? I dont know.... It happens almost everynight.

he is having a nightmare and something from the past is haunting him just reassure him and talk to him , maybe he is not able to share some thing with u for the fear that u might run away ............ I m sure there is nothing more to it............................to b on the safer side visit a doctor

Stress can cause it.

I've woken up in a cold sweat before when my blood sugar level got too low. I was on a very low-sugar diet, and broke the fast one night, which caused an overcompensation in decrease in the blood sugar that night.

He could be having night terrors in his sleep. Maybe he needs to get a full physical to see if he has over active sweat glands. Or he needs to go to a sleep disorders clinic and have himself checked.

yeah, maybe he has sleep apneigha. its a condition that happnes in a lot of guys over 18 where they styop breathing and then gasp for air and a cold sweat is a symptom... so my dad had this problem...

my husband does the same thing all the time..he has been to the Dr and nothing is wrong with him.but everyone is different so maybe your boyfriend should go and get a Dr.s advice.

Could be anything up to and including AIDS, or nothing serious at all, see a doctor.

Could be anxiety, could be thyroid problems, could be tuberculosis, could be an STD like AIDS. Regardless, I would tell him to see a doctor as soon as possible.
