i believe at the time two years ago the trade was great for the rockets. Howevfer, we never have really seen T-Mac break out into an All Star player in th erocket red. He has always been injured and has been a cap problem for them in the free agency market. Orlando is the winner now since they were able to move Francis to the Knicks and gain some reasonalby priced players who are leaders for the young Magic(Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkalu) Now the Magic seem lieka team that will be prized for a title in the next five years with superfreak Dwight Howard and JJ Redick

i think it was because looked at steve compared to tracy. who is better now. i think when teams trade they dont look at the long term effect. if orlando would of kept t-mac then they probably would be competeing for the play-offs and be a higher rank team
