For me:
Book: The Five People You Meet in Heaven because it makes you realize we all have a destiny, whether we know it or not.
Movie: Pay it Forward because it makes you realize that we have the capability to make a different in another person's life.

To Kill a Mockingbird. It made me see prejudice through different eyes. It made me understand why judgement without truth is bad and finally it made me understand what real courage is.
