Ummm...well...by you asking this question here and having a (assuming) problem with it, then doesn't that imply, even if only slightly, that you might still have feelings for him? If y'all are just friends it shouldn't be a big deal to you. You shouldn't be suspicious about it because you are better off trusting your own instincts.

I am gonna assume you dated him before he was married. I WOULD be suspicious. I think he wants to show his wife the prior goods to make her jealous. He would only be using you for his gain.
