Motorola V3C is a CDMA phone which only works on the Verizon or ALLTEL network...(if you're in Canada then Bell Mobility or Telus Mobility)

IMEI numbers (International Mobile Equipement Identity ; basically the ID for your phone) are only found on GSM mobile phones...like the Motorola RAZR on Cingular and T-Mobile...

If your Motorola doesn't have a SIM card, then it's NOT a GSM phone...and won't have an IMEI number...

Like lv_tracee said below, you probably want the ESN# (Electronic Serial Number) which are the form of ID for CDMA mobile phones, especially your V3C...(and some dual mode CDMA+GSM phones)

So, basically if your are trying to input the code *#06# into your RAZR V3C to get the IMEI, it just won't work...Hope this helps...

...just wondering, who is your service provider?

In over 3 years of cellular sales and 5 years of cellular warranty work I've only needed an EIME for phones that were built for Canada in Mexico so if you have a cellular plan based in America I would ask them why they are asking for an EIME instead of an esn number. Even GSM phones have an esn and whoever is asking you for the EIME should be able to make due with the esn.
