"Bigfoot", "Sasquach" etc. are names for a semi-mythalogical, semi-real creature that is rumored to live in various wild places, especially in the Northwest region of the United States and Canada. There has been some serious research done recently which indicates the possibility of "Bigfoot" actually being an American Great Ape that has somehow managed to avoid detection all these years. The jury is still out on who or what this creature even is, or if it is even real at all and not some hoax.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I do indeed believe in Bigfoot. Family members have seen him/her but I have not. When and if they want to be found, they will be. Just think how intelligent these creatures are to have avoided us for so long.
They don't like us to get too close. They have been known to throw stones at cars parked in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. I do believe in Bigfoot but as for "who" it is? I guess you can call him Fred if you like.

first of all Iam one who firmly belives he exists--i live in northern California and people i know who i trust--have seen him. they describe what looks like a very big man--or like an ape-man. he is very hairy--he has a stink--and very disctictive odor. he makes sounds that are not like other animals--he is normally nocturnal but some have spotted him at other times of the day--at a time that would make him Crepuscular. he is said to be anywhere from 6 ft. to 10 ft high and weigh a half of a ton. his foot prints are really all the physical eveidence any one has found more then a few times and these feet are differnt then other animals--differnt then bear or human--if anyone was to find him they might consider him the "missing Link" between man and animal or ape.
some think of him a sweetie--orthers have experienced his actions as hostile--but most of the time he has been seen running away from people--not towards them. he is very secretive but the Indians here and in other northern western states have seen him for many years before the white man discovered this strange animal and they named him "sasquach"
i personally belive that if anyone shoots and kills one merely to bring in a dead Sasquach--to prove he does really exist--that God will hold that person accountable for killing a human being. in some states you will find laws prohibiting the killing of this animal--with harsh fines--one place i know of has a fine of $100,000 .
Big Foot is real--he is out there--just doesnt want us to find him--until he decideds to be found--he will remain a mysterious creature.--and we will remain mysterious to him as well.
