Old school Christian bands to listen to would be Petra (especially their "Beyond Belief" album), Stryper, and Whiteheart.
Not-so-old school bands would be PFR, Third Day, and Jars of Clay.
Also Pillar's last two albums are really heavy, much heavier than a lot of secular bands.
For sheer guitar talent, check out Phil Keaggy and Wes King. These guys may not be up your alley sound-wise, but they sure can play some great guitar!

My familiar philoshopher is Schopenhauer. His commentaries on society and the guy nevertheless save real right this moment. He has given me super concept into myself and the strikes of others. additionally, he's the 1st western philospher to incorporate jap concept types into his artwork. Alot human beings say he was once very pesimistic, i do no longer fill that approach, in fact, for me, he replaced into as quickly as freeing. My needed philosophical staple is existentialism. After analyzing Schopenhauer and Nietzsche besides as my very own person stories I attained an existential outlook on life, yet it wasn't except I became famaliar with existential philosphy that i observed there was once a term for it. i admire the potential of being on my own in a godless universe. The angst was once now no longer there for me, best alleviation.

i know newsboys has kind of U2 ''taste'' to 'em. but hella good. a few songs of theirs that stick out to me are ''good stuff'' off their love, liberty, disco album, ''cornelius,'' from thrive, and ''breathe,'' off of...i'mma guess here: take me to your leader?. it's a little bit calmer than TFK, though. i'm not too too into bands like them...although...Disciple is a very nice christian metal band. fav. songs by them include (but not limited to) ''hello,'' ''103,'' and ''God of elijah.'' Disciple tends to rely a little heavier on guitars, being a harder type of ''rock.,'' and they're a little bit harder than TFK, IMO.
