Any software offering wallpaper, themes, smiles, etc all contain spyware. After you install them its really hard to remove them. Some make you download another program, go to their website, click "yes" remove, they "act" like they are uninstalled by they are still there in your computer all hidden and in your registry. Just remember, any website that requires you to download software or a special type plug-in to view their content has spyware!

It has a HUGE problem with spyware and adware. Make sure you read the End User License Agreement before installing any software you have downloaded over the internet.

You should download the free version of Site Advisor. It will warn you about any site they have tested. This will do much to prevent being infected. Jibberjabar told me about it in Jan 06 and I have been using it since. I would not go to a site without the information provided by it.
