Please do not make this a Bush bashing post! I am not talking about the war or anything....I just want to know what people think would make this world a better place.
If I could change one thing I would make the sex and nudity in movies and TV go away. I would make it illegal to show any body part naked on TV, and if they would be in bathing suits...it must be relevant to what they are in. I think stuff like that makes women feel they have to be better then those women (that is why women tend to be sl*ty now and days) and I think it makes men think that’s what real women should be like. It is bad for relationships and people in general. We do not need out young children watching that stuff.

RWEST: I don't have kids, that is now why I want it off TV, I just don't like looking at stupid wh0res when I'm trying to watch TV or a Movie

if i could change anything about the world today, i would change the views of those people who demean religion. Any religion, it really hurts me to find out about people who rip Bibles or make fun of faith, those who are tortured because of their beliefs and faith. Good question...!

I would take people of the streets & find a way to help them to help themselfs. such as, instead of sending money to other countrys, us it to build housing & have the people build them & care for them in order to be able to pay there way by maintaining the facility & area around it. Also, find jobs that make them feel like there needed. We have more people living in the streets then we ever had. Why can't we help our own people. Also, they are talking about the draft coming back. Why can't we make this a manditory thing, if you want to come to this country you must join the armed services for 6 years, after that you can become a United States citizen. That would intitle all aliens to prove that they love this country. We who have been born to the rights of USA are serving & evry one is getting the benifits from our citizens deaths fighting for our country. My Son served & both my Brothers have too.

Take nudity off TV? I want the exact opposite. I want television to do whatever they want. That would restore our freedoms of speech and media.
If we don't want young children watching "that stuff", where are the parents? Should my TV experience be ruined because some d-bag parents dont want their little pissant watching TV?

Welcome to the computer age! You can see way more provocative stuff on the web than you could ever see on TV. I guess you are excluding making changes in people's hearts and minds and behavior. So, if I could just change one thing about the world, it would be for everyone have a safe place to sleep with food and clothes.

It would be cool to knock down selfishness a couple of notches. I mean I know there's self-perservation but it seems more and more okay for more people to be out of this world self-centered. To the point of hurting/not caring about others. That worries me, and I wouldn't cry to see that go.

I would go back in time and try to keep the Europeans from invading and occupying North America. The Native-Americans respected the earth and all of its creatures, and we came along and killed the indians, stole their land, and are now raping it for our benefit.
Then I would make sure that their religion, where everything in the world, from the sun to the earth and everything in between, was respected, became the religion of the world.

I would want to stop HIV/AIDS (hint today is national AIDS Day)! It affects 39 million people around the world and I think that's a pretty large number! I wish there was cure, but the only thing we can do to protect ourselves is to wrap it up and make sure we don't come into contact with and bodily fluids! If I could change one thing it would be that all people would be equal! black, white, hispanic, whatever. All people would have an equal amount of money, rich people would pay more in taxes and there wouldnt be any homeless people. all these rich people wasting there tons of money on 2,000 dollar jeans and that would pay my bills for a month! I know its just a dream, but its a nice one!

I would make violence, hostility, or any type of war between people, let alone nations, be forbidden world wide. That crime and destruction of life (infants) be the terrible sin of the past.

I'd get rid of religion, all of it, totally and permanently. Religious beliefs have been used as an excuse to kill hundreds of thousands of people, and more are dying every day. (Until the beginning of the 20th century, the Catholic Church was the worst perpetrator of genocide in history.) This would at once solve the problems in Palestine, Iraq, and Iran.
