usually play acoustic but love my strat now....just dont know how to hook the foot switch up...duh

Some plug into the front and some the back. It is a 1/4 inch plug just like the guitar cable. Depending on the amp you could have plugs for the guitar, the footswitch, an external speaker, and maybe two for effects (one is effects in and the other is labeled effects out) . If the labels are worn off you just have to experiment. It won't hurt anything to plug the footswitch into the wrong hole just try it until you get results. OH yeah one more it could be a channel switch also. Try fender.com they have some .pdf files on there for owners manuals.

If it is a standard Fender foot switch that controls the Reverb or Vibrato, then there should be a 1/4 inch jack (hole) in the back of the amp at the top.

You'll need 2 guitar amp hookup chords. What you'll do is hook the foot switch to the amp, then hook the guitar to the footswitch. Fairly easy.
