well i was on my way out of school when this girl who i had known before (not good friends with her before) was waiting for someone and she was with someone else who was carrying her baby. she was talking on the phone and she said
"you know what i hate? when these f***** people stare just becuase i have a baby."
i wasnt staring but i didnt not look becuase i was surprised to see her with a baby. also she is only 16 or 17 and a junior.
was she right that people are stupid to stare just becuase she has a baby or did she have it coming?

Well, you can't really say that she "had it coming." You can't look and say "What a slut, she has a baby!" Not that you think that, but that others might. No one should pass judgement, because there could be a lot more that one doesn't know. It might not be her fault at all that she now has a child.
True, a baby is unusual, and it's natural to be curious, but to watch her, to "stare" at her, as she said---to give her excessive attention BECAUSE she has a baby--- is rude and socially innapropriate. Even if you weren't staring, it's natural for her to be paranoid and assume that you were. Don't think anything of it, but don't think any less of her either.

You know just because someone is carring a baby doesnt mean it is her's. She is making a big deal out of it. She feels guilty for having a child so young and her hate about that reflects off of other people. It is wrong to stare but it is only human to look at something that catches your eye. Don't blame yourself for her mistakes... you cant help it that she had a kid...

I would also look, knowing that she is pretty young. She should not get offended by people looking, she made a decision in life and she should just go on living her life. If she is feeling bad, then it clearly means that she is not comfortable with that decision.

For one thing, she shouldn't be swearing around her baby. Another thing, if she was so worried about what people thought of her then she shouldn't have gotten pregnant. Peoples kids, right???

She is just regretting her stupidity, forgive her, she is embarrassed for having a baby so young! don't let her get you down...she is stupid for making it harder for her to succeed in life now, and at such a young age
