tweed jackets are one of my fave kind of jackets! just make sure they DON'T HAVE SHOULDER PADS!!!! nothing screams, "I'm a dork" louder then shoulder pads!

It depends on the style. Tweeds with rounded collars can pass. Black blazers are worn best with a black knee length skirt or trousers (tweed).

i worked in a store with clothing for older women last year for almost and year and they were coming in regularly in out shipments, however it depends on your age. unless you are a back to work mom or at least over 35 tweed doesn't look good on you (generally). Black blazers are still a wardrobe staple however browns and khakis should replace it in the summer and spring. and brown is becoming a faster selling color than black... brown is the new black!
