I just wipe mine out with a clean cloth. If there is dirt I spray 409 on a clean cloth and wipe it out...No problem!!!

There is a product made by GE called Washermagic that works realy well on calcium, lime, rust, grease and soapscum. Yes you should at least every three months run your washer through a clean with this product or bleach to keep mold and mildew down in front load washers and soapscum etc in top load washers.

yes there is and it works wonders--- go to walmart or a grocery store and pick up a bottle of rust remover --run your washer full of hot water and put half of the rust remover in and let it set for 20 minutes ,then let it run its cycle,I do it at least 1 time every 6 mos. cause we have well water.

just put it through the wash cycle with no clothing in it and a scoop of powder or cup of bleach that is what my manual for my machine says to do

Leave the lid open after using it to let it dry out.
