Nah, I thought he was a cool cat for sure!
But, the gremlins scared me so bad! Also the Wizard of Oz flying monkies and the witch! OH MY GOSH! and ET--he is scary as hell when he is all crusty and white on the side of the river! ew!!

I don't know if he was national,but "The Jolly Green Giant" creeped me out.
