Hi there,

Windows does not have Intrusion Prevention as standard. For this you will need to download and install a seperate IPS.

The best and most widely known on the market is Prevx1. They also offer a free trial which you can download and try out from their website. I've been using it for over a year now and recommend it very highly.

next time when asking a question add detials like your internet browser and other important details, not to nag but without this it makes the question much harder to answer. if you are talking about internet explorer 7.0 when you first load it it will ask you if you would wish to turn it on. if you just flew by it, it would of automitically turned it on
