I am months away from turning 18.

Boyfriends get jewlery for thier gfs on her birthday.
I have no idea what to get him, despite being in the same gender and age group.

Give him a romantic evening, if you know what I mean. Take him out to his favorite place to eat, then back to your house. Make sure your parents aren't home. Have candles already set up and get some soothing music going. Bring him into the bedroom, and throw a pack of condoms at him. You know what to do from there. :)
