i would like to see one for my self. can i but a microscope for the job? not to costly?

a microscope is used to enlarge a small object to see clearly. Thus you can see a dust mile with it

Of course. Those things are about 500 to 600 micro meters in length and about half that in width. That's huge!! A micro meter is; 1.0 X 10^-6
