Yes. It hurts because the hymen (its like a thin layer of tissue or something that covers the vagina entrance) brakes when the penis enters the vagina. This breaking will cause the female to feel sore

Its not anything scientific about the reason why it hurts ur first time. It hurts because u have a skin called the hymen covering the entrance of ur vagina and it breaks once the penis enters. But the most pain come from the vagina walls stretching...imagine a penis going into a hole as big as a quarter...yea OUCH

it hurts some women becuse there haymen breaks- it's a thin layer of skin over the vagina that protects against infection- it breaks usualy in first time sex or even sometimes in some sports. another reason maybe the girl is tense and not relaxed enough.

and it's differant for every woman.

First time sex does not hurt for everyone, for some people it can hurt, myself i found that it didn't, so don't believe all these people who say it hurts like hell, for them maybe it did, but it didn't for everyone, i think it all depends on the individual person.
i think as long as ur relaxed, and that he understands and takes his time then you'll be fine.
Good luck with your project !

It does hurt because there is a layer of skin called the 'hymen' that rips when you have sex. People call it the cherry. Once it's ripped then you have lost your virginity. That's how doctors can tell, because that layer of skin is gone.

well the walls of your vagina aren't used to having something that big put inside of it and it has to stretch. So the first few times will probably be a little uncomfortable until you get used to it then it'll be better.

Ahhh! yea! as for a scientific reason, just do the measurements...something that size into a small place (if you get me?) it's gonna hurt.

Didn't hurt for me. I guess it depends whether or not the other person takes his or her time. Slow and gentle doesn't hurt.

I imagine it would. You might want to go ask a gynecologist. Or Yahoo! Answers... :)

I'm done.
